Last month I met up with one of my 2019 couples, Lorinda and Wes, for their engagement session! They’re pretty new to the area, so I recommended Downtown Fort Worth for their sesh based on the look they wanted! When Lorinda sent over her outfit pictures, I knew AMC Palace 9 near Sundance Square would be the perfect spot for their first look! She had picked out a super cute light pink dress and chic black fur coat, and it paired so well with the all-pink retro theater. Her and Wes killlled it with their outfit selections! Their classy and formal looks complimented the Downtown Fort Worth scenery so well!
These two are so comfortable with one another, and I think that definitely translates throughout their blog post and gallery! One of the biggest reasons I like to do engagement sessions is so that the couple can get comfortable with one another in front of the camera, and of course get a feel for how I pose and shoot. At the start of every engagement session, I let my couples know that the first couple minutes will be awkward, it’s pretty inevitable! haha. But, these two were such naturals. They were so affectionate toward one another, and that made posing them so easy!
Their wedding day at Barons Creek Vineyards is just a couple months away, and I can’t wait!! The venue looks amazing and I’m so excited to explore the grounds with them! Until then, enjoy a few of my favorites from their Downtown Fort Worth engagement session! Be sure to let me know your favorites in the comments! This black and white candid was one of my favorites! It was right after the shot, and they were probably laughing at me saying something dumb, whoops haha.
