When I’m not shooting weddings, I love to fill my spare time with senior sessions! Since graduating from the University of North Texas in 2016, I’ve gotten to photograph so many different graduates, with a bulk amount being my super cute sorority sisters in Delta Gamma! I met Jenny through DG, and we got closer my last year in college when we had Spanish class together! Jenny would sit in front of me in class and I’d literally lean forward like 10 times per class and ask her if she could tell me what the teacher was saying…luckily, I somehow passed!! haha.
When Jenny reached out about booking her senior session with me, I was absolutely taken aback by her insanely kind email responses. Before I even sent over my session information, she was saying how excited she was that I would be taking her senior pictures. It meant so much that she was that happy to work with me. After I delivered her session, Jenny texted me saying, “I had already picked you out as my photographer like a year and a half ago…I was literally just waiting to graduate.” SERIOUSLY?! HOW SWEET IS SHE!!
Jenny rocked three super cute outfits for her session at UNT, saving her favorite one for the Union’s rooftop garden. The entire morning leading up to her session had been extremely cloudy. I was SO nervous that we wouldn’t get a pretty sunset, but right as we started making our way to the rooftop, there was a break in the clouds and the sun came out thankfully!
One of my favorite details from Jenny’s session was her graduation cap! I loved that she shared the credit for her success with her parents and thanked them through her cap! Her parents tagged along for her session and were the sweetest ever (no surprise!). I know they’re extremely proud of her, and that definitely showed in their smiles throughout her session! Jenny, you’re such an amazing friend and I can’t wait to see what you accomplish after graduation! I know you’ll do great things in your field!
