Growing up, my family wasn’t huge on photos. I can count on one hand the photos I have with my dad, and I truly value those memories so much. The one of us at Disney World meeting Goofy and Pluto when I was a little kid has to be one of my absolute favorites. Though I grew up with a liking for photography, the passing of my dad sparked a whole new interest in it.

Through the years though I’ve realized what subconsciously drew me to photography: the legacy. Though I couldn't have photos with my dad on my wedding day, his legacy lives on through the 4x6 printed photos from my childhood, and I'll always cherish that.

WHAT DREW ME  TO PHOTOGRAPHY WASN'T AN ABUNDANCE OF PHOTOS, BUT RATHER THE OPPOSITE

If I'm not out photographing a wedding day, I love spending my Saturdays at home with my husband and our 2 pups! You can usually find us at home, lounging on the couch scrolling every.single.possible.streaming service to find the best movie or show to watch while I pop my perfected recipe of stovetop popcorn (it's truly amazing).

#ThingsNoOneAsked but current streaming watch: The new season of Ted Lasso.

My husband, dogs, and lots of popcorn and movie nights bring happiness to our home.

Wow! Can't speak highly enough of Gaby Caskey. My fiance and I had a 2020 engagement and she was super flexible & great to work with during that super stressful period.  Would recommend Gaby to anyone and everyone!

One of my favorite things about being a photographer is having the ability to spend my days at home with my dogs, Leia and Rey! They love snoozing next to me while I edit, whether it's in my office or on the couch.

P.S, yes, they're both named after Star Wars characters!

I've referenced my love for popcorn like 12 times already. So let's cut to the chase, my perfected stovetop popcorn recipe:
-Heat up coconut oil on the stovetop in a large pot
-Add a few kernels. When they pop, add the rest!
-Remove from heat when the popping slows down
-Secret ingredient: Top with Flavacol seasoning (use sparingly!!)
-Mix in freshly melted butter + desired toppings
-Enjoy!

I've loved cooking since I was little. Actually, my love of food created my first few "businesses" as a kid: The classic lemonade stand, selling treats out of my little Easy Bake oven, and eventually upgrading to crafting customized burgers on the stovetop.

Nowadays, I love cooking anything with a hint of spice to it or different pastas!

Though I don't have tons of photos from my childhood past the few I've seen over the years, my heart is to capture those memories and preserve them for other families and couples. In the same way I loved capturing the small and large moments when I was younger, I aim to do that same thing on a wedding day.

I want each person I photograph to leave their wedding day or session not only feeling like they had a great experience, but also knowing that they'll have those moments photographed to look back on for decades to come.
