I’ve known Selena and Immanuel for almost the last decade, and it’s so crazy to think that these two are now married! These two are super down to earth, so their idea to have a backyard wedding fit their personalities so well! One of my favorite things about Selena and Immanuel is that they’ve always put Christ first in their relationship. They’re both active members at their Church and serve full-time in Ministry. These two have amazing hearts for the Lord, and that definitely translates over into their relationship with each other!
Selena and Immanuel’s backyard wedding kicked off with a ceremony surrounded by all of their family and church friends. They were married in front of the coooolest DIY-ed geometric backdrop adorned with florals. After the ceremony, they enjoyed an open-air reception on the back lawn. They carried the gold and geometric theme into the reception decor with terrariums, DIY-ed himmeli orbs, and their cake topper. Friends and family had their pick of multiple treats to pick from before dinner–my favorite being the popcorn bar, obviously!
The night ended with a sparkler exit tunnel, always a fave! Since their wedding day, I’ve loved getting to hang with these two and see them transition into this new chapter of life. I know the Lord has awesome things in store for them, and I’m so excited to see it all unfold! I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from their wedding day! Happy month-iversary you two!
Okay, obviously I had to add in a few images from my niece’s flower girl debut! She’s the cutest ever! My nephew, Liam, normally says he HATES weddings. By the look of his smile in this picture, I think it’s safe to say he changed his mind (most likely only due to sparklers lol)!
