Fall Family Photos in Fort Worth, Texas
Kate and Jackson got married back in the summer of 2019, and their wedding day was such a beautiful celebration! Their wedding day was centered around their Faith, and I loved everything about getting to work with them and their families! This past Fall I got the chance to work with Kate and Jackson again for some updated photos. It’s always so fun getting to photograph my couples again after their wedding day! They even brought a special guest, their new pup, Bree! She’s a micro-mini Goldendoodle and the absolute cutest!! We took their photos at Northwest Community Park, the perfect location for a fall-themed family session in Fort Worth! This was my first session there and I looooved all of the golden colors within the leaves.
Kate and Jackson’s outfits complimented each other so well and really popped against the Fall foliage. Bree even had a cute neutral and knotted leash to match the color scheme! This was my fourth time photographing Kate, so I knew she’d crush the outfit selection as always! For those who are taking family photos soon and need some tips, I always suggest sticking to 1-2 pops of color, with the rest of your outfit being complementary neutrals. This allows the focus to remain on you, while also accenting the location you’ve chosen. If you have more than 2-4 people, you can always add an extra pop of color, too! Muted colors like Kate’s terracotta-colored dress always photograph beautifully. Also, a little bonus tip: if you’re bringing along pets, a cute leash, collar, or accessory go a long way!
I’m so excited to share some photos from their sesh to get us into the Fall spirit! We can totally just ignore that it’s still scorching hot here in Texas…haha. This session was my first time photographing at Northwest Community Park but I’m so excited to be heading back there for Fall minis next month!
