Regan & Aaron | August 18, 2018
I’m so so excited to share a few of my favorite images from Regan and Aaron’s wedding day this past weekend! This was my first wedding in San Antonio since moving here, and I can’t think of a better couple to kick things off with! We started the day off at their ceremony surrounded by rows and rows of family and friends. I knew Regan and Aaron’s family and friends played huge roles in their lives, and that was definitely evident by the nearly 300 people who witnessed them become husband and wife. I loved seeing all of the traditions Aaron and Regan incorporated into their ceremony. From communion, arras, and the lasso, they thought of so many ways to honor the Catholic faith.
After the ceremony, everyone headed over to the Escobedo family ranch for the big reception! One of the coolest things about the reception venue was that the family actually built it for the wedding. How awesome is that?! So if you haven’t heard of the venue in the title of this blog post, that’s why! The reception had both indoor and outdoor spaces, with a dance floor inside, and an outdoor patio lined with areas to lounge in. I love that the Olivarez and Escobedo families thought of every way to create a fun and comfortable space for their guests to enjoy throughout the night!
The reception was one of my favorite parts of the day because it truly was a party! Ray Colao and the Colao Band kept the dance floor packed all night with performances of alllll the hit songs. Every band member was so talented, and I love that they interacted with the guests! They had guests up on the stage dancing, and they even came down into the crowd too! I’m pretty sure I said “OH MY GOSH I LOVE THEM” to Julie, the planner, like 5000 times that night! haha. Since this was my first wedding in San Antonio, I got to work with an all new vendor team. They were so fun to work with–if you’re a San Antonio bride, make sure to check them out below!
Regan and Aaron’s day was all about family and friends, and I loved that they kept that at the center. As you scroll through this post, I hope you’re able to get a small glimpse of just how important Regan and Aaron’s family and friends are to them. Regan and Aaron, thanks again for letting me be a part of your wedding day! Enjoy! Regan and her little sister peeked out of the blinds in the church’s bridal room right before the ceremony started. Such a cute little moment as they watched all of the guests pile into the chapel!
