Barons Creek Vineyards

My last few wedding days have all started out with signs of bad weather. Crazy winds, sudden temperature drops, large hail, tons of rain, and on and on. Lorinda and Wes planned a fully outdoors ceremony and reception at Barons Creek Vineyards, so we knew that rain or shine, we were going to make this day awesome! Lorinda and her bridesmaids kept saying, “at the end of the day you’ll be married and that’s what matters!” and I LOVE that they remembered what mattered the most!

Lorinda and Wes were married in a small ceremony in an open field near the villas. They had about 70 family and friends in attendance, so everyone leaned in to hear the couple’s vows. Lorinda’s brother officiated the ceremony, and I know that meant a lot to Lorinda and her family!

After the ceremony, Lorinda’s guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio. Barons Creek Vineyards had an amazing selection of wine and charcuterie for the guests to choose from! While the guests mingled during cocktail hour, we ventured around the property for Lorinda and Wes’ portraits. Barons Creek Vineyards has a tower that overlooks the Hill Country, so we finished our portrait time up there. Seriously, the most amazing view overlooking the venue, their guests, and the open Hill Country. I loved that it was quiet and secluded. This gave Lorinda and Wes a little time to breathe and just reflect on the day!

When it came time for the reception, everyone moved over to the open-air pavilion. Lorinda and Wes planned the BEST dinner ever: wood-fired pizza made fresh from the oven in front of the guests! SO COOL! They also had other little surprises for the guests such as the ice cream bar and grilled cheese for a late night snack! As the night went on, and the temperatures dropped, the dance floor’s intensity only grew! Lorinda and Wes’ guests layered on coats, leggings under their dresses, and whatever needed in order to keep the celebrations going!

Lorinda and Wes, thanks for letting me be a part of such a FUN celebration! You two radiate happiness, and I loved getting to be a part of your day!
