Park 31

This past weekend we celebrated Brittany and Kendall’s wedding day at Park 31, a new venue a few miles outside of San Antonio! I first met up with Brittany and Kendall last fall for their engagement session in San Marcos, and they were SO fun to hang with! Brittany is so incredibly sweet, and easy to talk to, and Kendall is a fun-loving guy! Both of these things were made so prevalent on the wedding day when it came time for their toasts, too!

Brittany and Kendall started off the day with a Catholic ceremony at a beautiful church just down the road from their venue. Guests poured in and packed the pews to witness the two become one. As Brittany walked down the aisle, Kendall couldn’t help but tear up, which is always so sweet!!

Following the ceremony, everyone headed over to Park 31 to enjoy cocktail hour and corn hole out on the lawn! Brittany and Kendall have so many special friends and family in their lives, so Park 31 was the perfect venue to accommodate all of their guests! I loved how Park 31 had so many different seating areas available throughout the venue–that way guests could enjoy the reception as they liked. Whether they wanted to hang on the back lawn, grab a drink from the bar (literally a full-on room!), or join the guests out on the main dance floor, there was something for everyone! And if guests wanted to watch from afar, they could thanks to the second floor balcony that lined the hall!

Brittany put SO much attention to detail when it came to the reception. She even dedicated a full table to Kendall’s groom’s cake, complete with a fishing tackle box filled with candy for the kids and custom Coors-themed cookies! haha. But the surprises didn’t stop there! Brittany surprised Kendall and the guests with a visit from the SAN ANTONIO SPURS’ COYOTE. WHAT?!?! SO FREAKING COOL!! I love when couples make the reception a fun experience for the guests, and Brittany and Kendall did just that! And as the night came to an end, they brought in yet another surprise…Whataburger for everyone! Two Texas favorites in one night?? I mean, can’t get better than that!
