Amy + Brice | March 23, 2019

This past weekend we celebrated Amy and Brice at the gorgeous Brooks at Weatherford! Amy and Brice had a rustic and vintage theme in mind, and this venue was perfect for that! The Brooks at Weatherford sits on open acres of land with a stunning white chapel and a large reception space, and of course a cute little brook in the middle! I loved how secluded the venue felt, especially with the hills in the distance. It seriously looked like we were anywhere but Texas!

The wedding was planned to perfection thanks to Amy’s attention to detail, and of course, Ashlee with Treasured Heart Events! One of my favorite little details strung throughout the day was Amy’s color palette of varying shades of purple. It was a great way to tie in her alma mater, TCU (Sorry Brice, nothing was Raider Red! haha).

Amy and Brice were married in the open air chapel on the Brooks’ property. Since it was a nice and breezy day, they were able to keep the side doors up, allowing for amazing views all around! During the ceremony, the officiant read aloud sweet notes about the couple from Amy and Brice’s friends and family. This added a special touch to the ceremony! Amy and Brice also opted for handwritten vows, which made everyone tear up!! I always love hearing personalized vows, too!

Whenever I first met with Amy and Brice last year, they mentioned how they wanted to make the reception all about the guest experience! And they DEFINITELY crushed it in that area. From the donut wall, to the s’mores bar, corn hole out on the lawn, and the glow sticks on the dance floor…they literally thought of it all! Ryan from LeForce Entertainment kept the party going all night, and you could tell the guests were having so much fun celebrating the newlyweds!

Amy and Brice…y’all are the best! Thanks for letting me be a part of your celebration! I’ve recapped the day below with some of my favorite moments, and I hope it helps relive the day fully! For Brice’s gift, he gave Amy three different “night sky maps” from important days in their relationship! The day they started dating, the day he proposed, and their wedding day. How sweet! During this moment, the officiant read aloud a few special words from Amy’s mom. I love the look Amy’s sharing with her mom, so sweet! When I first met with Amy and Brice, they told me how they loooved Mexican food. So of course I had a mini freak out when I saw they had a taco bar for their reception! haha. Amy and Brice love to visit new places, so they made their seating chart with that in mind!
