Jessica and Josh’s wedding day at Mission San Jose was just a few weeks ago and I’ve already had multiple friends tell me they loved the one Instagram sneak peek I shared and wanted to see more! SO, I figured I should share their wedding day on the blog for others to see! We started the day at the Grand Hyatt Downtown for the getting ready portion of the day. Usually when I walk into hotel rooms it’s so tricky to find good light for portraits, but this hotel had an abundance of windows and sooo much space. After getting into her dress, Jessica opted for a first look with her dad, which was such a sweet moment!

After that, we headed out to Mission San Jose for the ceremony! If you’re not familiar with Texas and its history, the Missions are historic landmarks with great importance in the Catholic faith. Completed in 1782, the intricate structure of Mission San Jose is definitely a showstopper. Jessica’s classic bridal look and Josh’s luxe bow-tie and shoes brought a modern elegance to the Mission that complemented each other so well! In front of a packed chapel, Jessica and Josh said their vows and became Mr. + Mrs. Hub!

Following the ceremony and some portraits, we headed Downtown to the reception at the Jack Guenther Pavilion, located at the Briscoe Western Art Museum. Jack Guenther Pavilion, seated right off the Riverwalk, served as the coolest reception space, with both an indoor ballroom and an outdoor cocktail hour space. After cocktail hour, the guests headed into the ballroom to see the most stunning reception setup. Jessica and Josh, with the help of Goen South, planned the decor to perfection. They even added in chandeliers all throughout the space, such a great way to elevate a reception!

The guests danced the night away and the dance floor was packed all night! All in all, the wedding was a TON of fun, and I hope that shows throughout the gallery! Jessica and Josh, thanks so much for letting me be a part of your day! Here’s to the Hubs!

Probably one of my favorite shots of the day! I loved that you could see both Jessica and her dad walking down the aisle, and also her mom wiping away tears. So sweet!
I loved these shots of Jessica and Josh as they exited Mission San Jose! From the smile on Jessica’s face to seeing the guests clapping in the background, I love that it all ties in!
Shots in full sun are usually tricky to work with, however I loved this one capturing their first moments as husband and wife!
Since Jessica and Josh had a cocktail hour, they were able to get the first looks at their reception space before everyone else!
As the guests made their way outside, Jessica and Josh shared a private last dance to Lover by Taylor Swift. So cute! After that, they made their grand exit through a tunnel of bubbles!
